Celebrating Ivy Hall’s 3-Year Anniversary with the Surreal Sundae Bar
This month, we had the joy of celebrating Ivy Hall’s three-year anniversary, and we could not think of a better way to mark the moment than with something a little surreal.
To celebrate, Julie Ann’s Frozen Custard brought out our Surreal Sundae Bar for a special morning pop-up, partnering with our friends at Heady Cup Coffee + Ivy Hall Dispensary to serve affogatos, cereal sundaes, and plenty of smiles. It was one of those mornings where everything lined up. Great people, great partners, and customers starting their day with something unexpected and fun.
A Menu Built for Joy
For the event, guests were invited to build their own sundaes by choosing a cereal and a drizzle, with the option to add a shot of hot coffee from Heady Cup for a custard-and-coffee affogato experience.
Here were the most popular combinations of the day:
- Cookie Crisp + Milk Chocolate
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch + Salted Caramel
- Reese’s Puffs + Peanut Butter
- Froot Loops + Marshmallow Sauce
- Cocoa Krispies + Chocolate Ganache
Watching people spot their favorite childhood cereals and turn them into a frozen custard sundae was one of our favorite parts of the day.
