Do you ship or deliver?
No, we do not offer nationwide shipping for retail orders. Our frozen custard bars are temperature sensitive and made to be enjoyed fresh.
Yes, we partner with Doordash for local deliveries.
Yes, we do offer local delivery for wholesale accounts. Delivery is available within approximately 40 minutes of Julie Ann’s for an additional delivery fee. Availability and pricing depend on order size, location, and scheduling.
Do you have allergens in your facility?
Yes, our facility contains the following allergens: dairy, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, artificial dyes (including Red 40), and egg. While we do our best to keep things separate, risk of exposure is here.
I have an allergy, can I eat at Julie Ann’s?
If you have an allergy, please inform the cashier of said allergen and we will should do the following: flag your item as an allergy precaution, wear gloves while preparing your item, using new scoopers and scooping untouched custard from the back if available. We will also sanitize shake blenders before blending any shakes.
If you have a severe allergy, we recommend that you do not eat at our shop. Because of the presence of said allergen, we can never 100% guarantee that cross contamination won’t happen, despite taking precautions to prevent so.
Is your dairy free “custard” made on the same machine as the dairy base custard?
No, our dairy free “custard” is made using a separate machine that is designated dairy free. Our dairy free “custard” is also stored in a separate freezer from our regular custard to further prevent cross contamination. We also have a designated shake blender for dairy free concretes and shakes.
How does Julie Ann's curbside pickup work?
Curbside pickup is designed to keep your order fresh and your wait time short. All orders are prepared first come, first served.
If you are already parked at Julie Ann’s:
Select your parking spot number from the list. Your order will be released into the queue immediately and prepared in order of arrival. We’ll bring your items directly to your car.
If you are ordering from home or ahead of time:
Place your order online before you arrive. When you get to the shop, park in one of our 32 curbside spots and text us your name and parking spot number at (815) 459-9117. Your order will be released into the queue once you check in.
We make orders first come, first served to preserve freshness, and a team member will deliver your order to your car as soon as it’s ready.

Do you offer returns or refunds?
Because our products are frozen and temperature sensitive, we do not accept returns once an order has been picked up or delivered.
That said, if there’s an issue with your order, we want to make it right.
- If something is incorrect, missing, or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll work with you on a solution.
- If you placed an order by mistake or didn’t fully understand our pickup or delivery options, contact us before pickup and we’re happy to cancel and refund your order.
For bulk, wholesale, or special orders, refund eligibility may depend on timing and preparation status. Please reach out directly so we can review the details with you.

What are the steps to order and customize a cake or pie?
Yes, we offer custom frozen custard cakes and pies, with options that vary by flavor and ingredients.
We have dairy and dairy-free options, and some cakes and pies can be made gluten-free and marked as such. Please note that not all items can be written on or fully customized, depending on the ingredients and decoration style.
Here’s how to place a custom order. The order of these steps is important:
- Select a pickup date first.
We require at least 3 business days to make your item. The earliest available date will be shown. If you need it sooner, please call us. - Select a pickup time.
This confirms when your order will be ready. - Add your customization details.
This may include an optional inscription of up to 30 characters, if available for that item. - Add the item to your cart and complete checkout.

We offer free cancellations within 7 days of placing your order. After that window, availability for changes or cancellations may depend on preparation status.

How can I order in bulk? Can I get a custom selection?
Yes. We offer bulk bundles that make ordering for groups easy. You can choose the bundle that works best for you and request adjustments.
Here’s how it works:
- Select a bulk bundle from our website that fits your needs.
- Add notes at checkout if you’d like to adjust flavors or mix items such as Julie Bars, ice cream sandwiches, dipped cones, or shorties.
- Our team will review your request. If major changes are needed, a small upcharge may apply. We’ll always confirm any price change with you before preparing your order.
Bulk orders may require 7-business days advance notice, depending on size and item selection. We can rush if noted on order, but may not have everything in stock.
