Julie Ann’s is built to serve multiple stations at once, with the equipment, storage, and experienced team to support events of any size. We’ve served companies and partners like International, Knaack, and Stryker, including events and festivals with thousands of guests.
Our team is made up of seasoned professionals with decades of experience, friendly faces, and a talent for keeping lines moving fast. We operate a licensed 1953 International Metro food truck, a Ford P450 freezer truck that holds -20°F for up to 12 hours, and a 12×12 branded tent setup designed for high-volume service.
We also use branded freezers, chest freezers, and bulk pre-made items to serve efficiently without sacrificing quality. Our frozen custard is made the morning of your event for the creamiest possible experience, and we offer dairy-free options and hundreds of flavor combinations to match your menu to your event vibe.

Julie Ann’s Frozen Custard is located at 6500 Northwest Highway (Route 14) in Crystal Lake, Illinois, in the Crystal Lake Plaza near familiar spots like Country Donuts, across the street from Walgreens, and next to IHOP. We have over 50 free parking spaces right out front, making visits easy and stress-free—and many guests choose to order curbside, especially during bad weather, for a quick and convenient pickup... we bring orders right out to your car.

Bulk orders can be placed right here on our website — just select your items and quantities, and quantity discounts are automatically applied. We offer delivery within McHenry County for an additional charge, though pickup is always appreciated. Bulk options include Julie Bars, Sandwiches, Dipped Cones, Shorties, Half-Gallons, and Custard Tacos, making it easy to serve a crowd.

Our Custard Truck and Delivery Trucks are typically not available for standalone rental. They are part of a full-service event experience that includes our product, equipment, and trained staff.

How far can you drive the Vintage Custard Truck? How do you get it to far-off places?
Our 1953 International Metro Custard Truck can drive short distances on its own, but for longer trips it is transported by trailer. Because of this, events outside of roughly 10 miles may require towing. Any towing costs are passed through at cost, typically around $400, with no markup.
It’s an old truck, but a very cool one, and we take great care to get it to your event safely.
